Yesterday our world came crashing down and our 10 year old dog had two seizures back to back at 3am. By this point it was 4:30am and I had called over 6 different places for help. Dr. Matthew Capitanio was the only one who picked up the phone. His calming voice and willingness to help calmed me down. I am so grateful for him! This was our first pet we had that passed away and they made this so easy on us. They took care of our girl in one day. They helped her cross the rainbow bridge at 8:15am and hand delivered her to our home at 7:27pm. We are amazed at how quickly and carefully the whole process was. Horizon PCS also had the best pricing by far. Super affordable and you get so much. I will continue to recommend them and praise them any chance I get. I cannot thank Horizon PCS enough!

I cannot say enough wonderful things about Horizon Pet Cremation Services and the care they showed during one of the hardest moments of my life. Saying goodbye to my beloved Kai—my best friend, part of our family—was incredibly painful, but they treated him with such dignity, compassion, and respect every step of the way.

They went above and beyond to honor him in a way that reflects how much he meant to me. Kai was placed in a beautiful etched wooden urn, and I was given a clipping of his fur, a paw print with his name, and a memorial candle—keepsakes I will cherish forever.

Destiny showed such kindness and compassion by allowing my special request for Kai to be carried through our backyard one last time, with his companion Valentina (our pug) walking beside him. That moment meant everything to me. Before she left, she reassured us that she would take good care of him, and I truly felt that.

Horizon has been amazing through the difficult time of losing my Sweet Pea. When she suddenly passed, they walked me through the process through my tears and came out very quickly to pick her up. They were so kind and compassionate when picking her up. Their cremation package was beautiful and very reasonably priced. All the things I was given to remember her were more than I could hope for. I just received a sympathy card from them and it just really cements how kind and caring Horizon is. Thank you to them for all that they do and for making this incredibly difficult time easier. They are truly the best!

I tragically lost my 5 and a half year old Tuxedo cat. I called a few different places before reaching Horizon. I left a voicemail and within 3 minutes was called back. The person that called me was Dr. Matthew Capitano himself. His sincerity and compassion is matched by none. I instantly had peace of mind that Mini was in good hands. You can't put a price on what Dr. Matthew Capitano provided. He gave me a listening ear, kind and empathetic words, an understanding of my broken heart, peace of mind, and lastly...the very closure I thought wasn't possible. The cost of the services I received were pennies to the dollar in comparison. The fact they worked with me for payment to ensure my Mini got her farewell with dignity showed the genuine compassion Dr. Matthew Capitanio and his team at Horizon uphold. I couldn't thank them enough!

My baby passed away a few weeks back unexpectedly. We called many places and none were as compassionate and understanding like the employees at Horizon. They came and got her and in under 48 hours they came and dropped her off. I truly appreciate the employees there for doing everything they can to make this process better as hard as it is. If your loved pet unfortunately passes, I would 100% recommend Horizon for the process after. Thank you Horizon and your amazing employees and thank you for bringing my baby back to me.

Our precious Mello crossed over to the Rainbow Bridge and Matt answered the phone and was there to pick up our girl in 1hour. Matt it takes a very gentle soul to be there for people on one of their darkest days. You were so kind and caring when you picked up our baby girl and you were so understanding during our inconsolable grief saying goodbye to her. Words cannot express how grateful we are that you answered the phone that day. Thank you Bernice for the respect and kindness you showed while giving our little one back to us. All of you are amazing and the paw print and necklace and her little box are beyond beautiful.

My senior baby Rusty who was 17 years old recently passed away. Private cremation is extremely important to me.  From start to finish, Horizon has been compassionate and caring. They were with my mother and I every step of the way as we brought him in, and spoke to us in the softest voices that put us at ease. It was hard to let him go but the process here at Horizon was so attentive and reassuring. Cali let us have our final moments with Rusty before saying goodbye and gently discussed the process with us about their Heart to Home package, never rushing us, and helped us with any uncertainty.When we brought Rusty home, I cried seeing the attention to detail Horizon had with my baby boy. I cannot express my gratitude enough. You guys have been so amazing. So quick but NEVER missing a step.Thank you Horizon for taking such good care of my baby boy. Though we never want to say goodbye to our pets again, it is something that will occur once again and I hope Horizon is still here so I can bring my future seniors here in the wonderful care of this team.

Truly a wonderful experience speaking to Shalia over the phone, someone that actually cares about someone's loss. I called to get an estimate about a price from other places and they just seemed to care about the money and not my family member, I called her and was told about option 2 by Shalia it was a little bit more but 100% worth it. I told them I would call them back within 5-10 minutes and instead of just saying "Okay bye." I was told "I'm sorry for your loss, and we give our condolences." It felt amazing knowing they truly cared, I called back after speaking with my wife and got the process started. They came within 2 hours and the driver was super respectful, let us say our final goodbyes and took him away. Within 24 hours everything was already done and our cat was returned back to us the following night by Shalia. They never once called him just a cat, they always referred to him by his name and a family member instead of a pet.

We are so grateful to have found this place. Our 14yo dog passed away on a sunday at 7:20pm... at that day and by that time most places were already closed and I could not contact anyone. Thankfully after googling for some time we found Horizon... it is about 45 min away from us but we had no problem driving there.
They were very nice when talking to them on the phone... and by the time I got there, they were waiting for me.
The cost of the cremation package is very accesible... less than other places, even though those places aren't open 24hrs. You get so much for the basic cremation package: wooden urn, clay paw, hair remains and candle. Those little things helped my son so much with his grief 🤍. Thank you Horizon!

I’ve known Dr. Capitanio professionally for over 15 years and I can tell you that I’ve never met anyone so loving and caring for pets. So happy for him through all his hard work and dedication that he was able to create an option for pet cremation that not only is affordable but reduces stress for everyone during the hardest time in their life. Horizon did an amazing job and made a very difficult time in our lives a little less painful. We found them online, called, and within an hour they were at our home to pick up my Romeo. They handled him with such care, and I truly felt he was in good hands. They returned him to us within 48 hours. Along with his ashes, we received a candle, a lock of his hair, and a paw print. The convenience of them picking him up and then delivering him back to us made the process much easier during such a hard time. Saying goodbye to my baby Romeo was incredibly difficult, but the small touches they included made it feel very special and meaningful. I’m truly grateful for the kindness and care they showed.
